Happy Thanksgiving!
October 14, 2013
As I celebrate this special day, it is with a grateful heart that I thank, first and foremost, our loving Father in heaven for everything: Your Grace and Light in my darkest moments; for pulling me out of the abyss I seemed to be trapped in; and for relentlessly propping me up and helping me find my way. I am nothing without You. I know not what lies ahead of me, but I bravely trudge along one day at a time with You by my side.
I thank my dear family for your kindness, patience and unending support. I thank my daughter for your love and concern - for looking out for me and my well-being.
I thank my BFFs, confidants and buddies near and far (new-old and long time pals), for your invaluable friendship throughout the years. I appreciate your being there for me through thick and thin.
My minikin... my baby, you helped us through a very tough time in our lives. You are God's gift to us, and I thank Him everyday for making my darling daughter choose you. Thank you for your unconditional affection, your companionship and for the smile you bring me each day. You are very much loved.
And finally (but not the least), I thank my late husband for the amazing memories... for sharing your life with me for 20 wonderful years (albeit too short). But, oh... it was quite a ride and I had blast! And, honey, I would do it all over again with you by my side.
Thank you, thank you all so very much for being a part of my life - your presence has made my life richer. You're all a blessing and God's gifts to me. I love y'all!
My cup runneth over.
